Price around the results

Revenue growth remained ahead of profit growth drivers

Inventurus Knowledge Solutions reported consolidated revenue growth of 20.74% year on year in Q1FY27, with operating profit increasing 24.05%. The 0.88 percentage-point improvement in operating margin reflects expenses growing 19.18%, below the pace of revenue growth. On a sequential basis, however, revenue growth slowed to 4.20% and operating profit declined 1.76%.

Sequential cost pressure reversed the margin trend

Expenses increased 7.40% sequentially, faster than the 4.20% rise in revenue, cutting operating margin by 2.01 percentage points. The margin had improved from 31.24% in Q4FY25 to 35.01% in Q4FY26, so Q1FY27 marks a break in that improvement after three consecutive quarters of expansion. Lower interest expense, down 20.27% sequentially and 44.08% year on year, supported pre-tax profit.

Profit quality was operational, not other-income led

Other income contributed only 0.16% of pre-tax profit, so reported earnings were not materially supported by non-operating income. The sequential tax rate rose 4.22 percentage points to 22.80%, which constrained net profit even as interest costs fell. Year on year, the tax rate was broadly stable, rising 0.56 percentage points.

IKS remains above the reported IT peer median

The company said an existing client, Advocate Health, is expanding its revenue-cycle-management partnership across acute and ambulatory operations. Management also said IKS won a California health-system partnership for clinical data migration.

Management's presentation also outlined a FY30 revenue outlook of INR 30,000 million and EBITDA of INR 11,485 million, while targeting sustained EBITDA expansion without significant equity dilution.
