Terms of Service

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of avsar.ai and the Avsar platform (the “Service”), operated by Avsar (“Avsar”, “we”, “us”). By accessing or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

1. Eligibility and access

You must be at least 18 years old and legally permitted to trade in Indian securities markets to use the Service. The Service is currently offered as invite-only early access, and we may grant, limit, or revoke access at our discretion.

2. What the Service is

Avsar is a software platform that helps you research ideas, build and backtest trading strategies on historical data, paper trade on simulated and live market data, and — where you choose — deploy strategies for live execution through a connected third-party broker. The Service is provided for research and execution support and is under active development; features may change.

3. Not investment advice

This is important. Avsar is a technology tool, not a SEBI-registered investment adviser or research analyst, and nothing made available through the Service constitutes investment advice, a recommendation, or a solicitation to buy or sell any security. We do not provide tips or assured returns.

  • Trading and investing in securities and derivatives carry a high risk of loss, including the possible loss of your entire capital.
  • Backtested and simulated results are hypothetical, do not represent actual trading, and are not indicative of future results.
  • All trading decisions are your own. You are solely responsible for evaluating the merits and risks of any strategy or order.

4. Your account

You agree to provide accurate information, to keep your sign-in method and device secure, and to be responsible for all activity under your account. Notify us promptly of any unauthorised use.

5. Acceptable use

You agree not to misuse the Service. You will not: use the Service for any unlawful purpose; attempt to interfere with, reverse-engineer, or gain unauthorised access to the Service; engage in market manipulation or any conduct that violates exchange, broker, or SEBI rules; or use the Service to harm others.

6. Brokers and order execution

Avsar is not a stockbroker. Any live orders are routed to and executed by the third-party broker you choose to connect, under that broker's terms and the applicable exchange and regulatory rules. You are responsible for your orders and for complying with your broker's requirements. We are not responsible for broker outages, rejected orders, slippage, or execution errors outside our control.

7. Intellectual property

The Service, including its software, design, and content, is owned by Avsar and protected by applicable laws. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the Service. You retain ownership of the strategies and content you create, and grant us the rights necessary to host and operate them as part of providing the Service.

8. Fees

The Service is currently offered during early access without a published fee. We may introduce fees in the future and will provide notice before they apply to you.

9. Disclaimers

The Service is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, or non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that data (including market or backtest data) will be accurate or complete.

10. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Avsar will not be liable for any trading or investment losses, or for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, arising out of or relating to your use of the Service.

11. Indemnity

You agree to indemnify and hold Avsar harmless from claims, losses, and expenses arising out of your use of the Service, your content, or your violation of these Terms or applicable law.

12. Suspension and termination

We may suspend or terminate your access at any time, including for violation of these Terms or to protect the Service. You may stop using the Service at any time and request deletion of your account.

13. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will revise the “Last updated” date above and, where appropriate, notify you. Your continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.

14. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of India, and you agree to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts in India.
