Price around the results

Revenue growth did not absorb the cost increase

PNGS Reva's standalone revenue rose 2.18% QoQ, but expenses increased 9.26%, driving operating profit down 15.38%. Operating margin consequently narrowed 4.94 percentage points to 23.82%, and net profit fell 14.41% to Rs 23.29 cr. Management said Q2FY27 had no festive days, compared with nine in the corresponding quarter last year, while consumer demand continued despite the calendar shift.

Lower interest costs did not offset weaker operating leverage

Interest expense declined 9.09% QoQ and the tax rate eased 0.32 percentage points, but those benefits were outweighed by the rise in operating costs. Other income of Rs 5.24 cr represented 16.89% of pre-tax profit, so reported earnings also had a meaningful non-operating contribution. The sequential decline in operating profit was therefore primarily an operating-cost issue rather than a financing-cost issue.

Margin remains above the peer median

The company's 23.82% operating margin was 11.40 percentage points above the 12.42% median among 48 Consumer Discretionary peers that had reported the quarter. The sequential margin decline is the key direction to track, although the available trend shows only the immediately preceding quarter rather than a longer run of declines. Management said its COCO stores were performing in line with expectations.

Retail expansion and digital distribution are being added

Management said three COCO stores were launched during FY27, including the company's first Jaipur store, and that approximately Rs 2,866 million of net IPO proceeds is earmarked for retail expansion. The company said it launched revadiamonds.com on September 16, 2026, adding an online channel for its natural diamond jewellery. Management also said larger-ticket purchases in the upcoming season could provide an opportunity to improve average order values and outlined omnichannel outreach across digital, OTT, cinema and outdoor media.
