Price around the results

Revenue growth did not translate into profit growth

Consolidated revenue rose 16.66% YoY and operating profit increased 15.74%, but profit before tax was nearly flat as other income fell 90.69%. Other income accounted for only 1.39% of current-quarter PBT, so Q4FY26 was not heavily dependent on non-operating income. Net profit still declined 2.47% because the prior-year contribution from other income was much higher.

Costs outpaced revenue and tax pressure increased

Expenses grew 20.56% YoY against 16.66% revenue growth, narrowing operating margin by 0.64 percentage points. Interest expense also rose 42.31%, while the tax rate increased by 1.76 percentage points to 25.30%. Sequentially, revenue fell 2.19% as expenses rose 3.86%, reducing operating margin by 1.15 percentage points.

Margin remains above peers after a volatile four-quarter trend

Operating margin declined from 81.73% in Q3FY25 to 77.94% in Q2FY26, recovered to 81.52% in Q3FY26 and slipped to 80.37% in Q4FY26. The margin was 20.96 percentage points above the 59.41% median for the 52 Financial Services peers that had reported. Sequential net profit fell 19.07%, reflecting the lower revenue and sharply reduced other income.

The presentation reported 16.5 million systematic transactions worth Rs 48.8 billion during March 2026. It also said the company serviced over 109,000 distribution partners through 280 offices, including 196 in B-30 locations, and held an 11.4% QAAUM market share.
